I do agree with Doug.

I am however sorry to see the service station go, as it is the last of the Weston creek suburban petrol stations, (Other than the big Woolies one at Weston Creek- which has big queues) and was home to a very conveniently located mechanic. I will particularly miss the employees of the service station.

I, along with other residents of this suburb, do not want this site left undeveloped for a long period as has been the case in other local ex-service station sites such as Chapman and Fisher. Delays in decontamination and re-development present long term eyesores and the sites become targets for vandalism and waste disposal.

I hope this development exhibits best practice in design and energy conservation in accordance with government policy and aspirations
