Representatives of Parks, Conservation and Lands section of TAMS gave an initial presentation on plans for community gardens at the former Weston and Rivett school sites, at a WCCC meeting on 25 May 2009.

On 26 August 2009 there was a further presentation by the Consultants and TAMS representatives of the proposals for the community gardens and parks at these two sites. These presentations followed site visits and meetings with interested residents. Construction of the community gardens at each site is expected to begin about November 2009 and will be done in conjunction with other developments in Kambah and this may affect the timing.
