The ACT Government have announced the allocation of $500,000 for a major upgrade to Fetherston Gardens. WCCC is not a local government body. For government matters contact CanberraConnect.
The WCCC holds open public meetings on last Wednesday of the month - see Meetings for a timetable.
The meetings are held at The Weston Club, Liardet Street, Weston at 7.30pm (map). We regularly have invited speakers, politicians and other representatives, with other organisations (eg ACT Policing) also regularly attending.
There are no membership fees for the WCCC and any resident of Weston Creek is able to contact the WCCC to seek assistance or advice. All members of the committee are volunteers and no one receives payment for any activities. The Council also receives financial support from the ACT Government.
