Weston Primary School Site

Representatives of Parks, Conservation and Lands section of TAMS gave a presentation on plans for community gardens at the former Weston and Rivett school sites, at a WCCC meeting on 25 May 2009. When plans have been finalised, there will be a further presenstation to WCCC members (perhaps at the July public meeting). Construction of the community gardens is expected to begin about November 2009

Residents of Weston Creek have drawn the attention of the WCCC to your pamphlet “Building a better bus service” and specifically to the statement that bus route 729 (which goes through Rivett, Duffy, Holder and then direct to the City) is to be “replaced by Xpresso route 727” whose route is simply direct from Cooleman Court to the City.
