DA Approval for ‘supportive units’ Rivett
Article posted on Thursday 24 December 2009
ACTPLA have advised the Council that the development of supportive units at Rivett has been approved, subject to some conditions.
Broadly the approval:
- Supports the removal of trees to facilitate the development;
- Makes comment and conditions on the Units whose backyards face Bangalay Crescent;
- Assesses that parking for Noah’s Ark centre is adequate; and
- States that the units will be for persons with special needs due to age and approves the development as a supportive housing development.
The Council will undertake a full evaluation of the approval in the new year.
